Is Event Flo free for organizers?
Yes. Event Flo charges 0% platform fees. You keep 100% of your ticket revenue. There are no processing charges through the platform either — guests pay you directly, so Event Flo never sits in the money path.
How do I host an event on Event Flo?
Sign up and build your event straight away: click Host an Event and fill in the details (name, date, location, capacity, pricing). A public event is saved as a draft and publishes automatically once your government ID is approved, usually within an hour. A private event (link only) goes live now, with the guests you import or add at the door. You control guest approvals and can scan QR codes at the door.
What types of events can I host?
House parties, club nights, concerts, meetups, run clubs, sports matchmaking games, restaurant events, business conferences and corporate training — free or paid, and public, private (link only) or members-only for a community. If people gather for it, you can host it on Event Flo, and listing is free.
How does ID verification work for guests?
Government ID verification is on by default: a guest who signs up through the event page is confirmed only after their ID is verified, and hosts can turn it off per event. The Event Flo team manually reviews each submission. Verification is one-time.
Can I approve or reject guest registrations?
Yes. Enable approval mode and review each registration before confirming. You see each guest's name, city, ID verification status and any answers to your request questions before deciding.
What is the Bouncer Portal?
A dedicated check-in interface for your door staff. You invite each staffer by email and they sign in with their own Event Flo account; they scan QR codes from their own phones, search the guest list by name, and see banned guests denied on screen. On your own Check-in screen you also track the live headcount and gender ratio. No app download required.
How do I get paid for ticket sales?
Guests pay you directly — your own UPI, bank transfer, or cash at the door. Event Flo never holds your money; it tracks every registration and shows what your tickets work out to at your ticket price. If you mark guests paid as they pay you, it also shows what the guests you marked paid work out to, so you can see who you haven't marked paid yet.
How does Event Flo compare to Eventbrite?
Event Flo charges 0% platform fees (Eventbrite charges 3.7% + $1.79 per ticket), turns government ID verification on by default (Eventbrite does not offer it), and includes a dedicated Bouncer Portal for door check-in.
Can I create and manage events across Indian cities on Event Flo?
