What is Event Flo?

Event Flo (event-flo.com) is an event discovery, ticketing and check-in platform founded in Pune, India in November 2025. People use it to find house parties, run clubs, meetups, concerts and club nights in their city. Hosts use it for public events, private invite-only events, communities, and business conferences and trainings: they take registrations, import guest lists, email QR passes and check guests in at the door.

Event Flo checks government ID for every host of a public or members-only event. A private event can go live right away: until the host is verified, guests join by invite or at the door. Government ID verification is on by default: a guest who signs up through the event page is confirmed only after their ID is verified, and hosts can turn it off per event. Guests a host imports or adds at the door aren't ID-checked, and business events have no guest ID check.

Event Flo charges 0% platform fees and never processes payments: guests pay hosts directly. It runs in the browser with no app to install, is open to adults 18 and over, and publishes city guides for 23 cities in India, the US, the UK, Europe and Asia-Pacific.

Event Flo is an independent company and is not affiliated with similarly named event-software products such as "Eventflo" or "EventFlow". The distinguishing marks of this Event Flo are the domain event-flo.com, guest ID checks on by default (except on business events), 0% platform fees and direct guest-to-host payments.

Who Uses Event Flo

Going Out. Find your people. Browse events by city, turn on "ID-verified hosts only" if you want it, and register from the event page. Paid events? You pay the host directly. Event Flo never takes a cut.

Social Hosts. House parties, meetups, singles nights, run clubs. Get your own event page, cap the guest list, approve each guest if you want to and let guests bring friends. Guest ID checks are on by default. House parties keep the exact address back until 2 hours before start, and only confirmed guests see it. Running a crew? Start a community with its own page and co-hosts.

Private Events. Already have the guest list? A birthday, a family function, an invite-only dinner. Make the event private and it stays off Discover: only people you send the link to can find it. Import your list from a spreadsheet, email everyone a QR pass and scan them in at the door. A private event goes live right away.

Business Events. Conferences and company trainings. Import your attendee list, email the passes and scan people in at the door or into each session. Business events are never listed publicly. Afterwards, download an attendance report as CSV or PDF and generate a certificate of attendance for everyone who checked in.

The story behind Event Flo

Event Flo started with a bad night. A house party in Pune where nobody knew anyone, the host had no idea who actually showed up, and by midnight things went sideways in ways they didn't have to.

That night, I asked a simple question: why do we accept anonymity at social events? We verify our Airbnb guests. We background-check our rideshare drivers. But we let strangers into our homes based on nothing more than a phone number.

Event Flo was my answer. Hosts of public events verify their government ID, and a guest who signs up through the event page is confirmed only after their ID is verified. House parties came first.

Then hosts started bringing lists they already had. A run club with its regulars. A family function. A company training with a roster from HR. These people didn't need strangers screened. They needed to send passes to the people they'd invited and see who actually came. So we built that too: import the list, email the passes, check everyone in at the door.

The question is the same whether the door opens to strangers or to people you've known for years: who's here? We launched in Pune in November 2025. Today Event Flo publishes city guides for 23 cities across India, the US, the UK, Europe and Asia-Pacific, and hosts can list an event in any city.

What we stand for

Know Who's There. Strangers get an ID check, on by default. Guests you invite come straight from your own list. Either way, everyone is on your guest list, and the scanner shows you each name as they arrive.

Your Money Stays Yours. Event Flo charges 0% platform fees and never touches ticket money. Guests pay you directly, however you already take payment: a payment link, UPI, bank transfer or cash at the door.

Built for the Event You're Running. A house party and a company training need different things, so the event form changes with the kind of event you pick. A private event goes live right away: until you're verified, guests join by invite or at the door. Imported guests aren't ID-checked.

Does Event Flo work for business events?

Yes. Pick Business conference or Business training when you create the event. Business events are never listed publicly and have no ticket price or guest ID check, because you bring your own attendee list. Import it, email the passes and scan people in at the door or into each session.
