The story behind Event Flo
Event Flo started with a bad night. A house party in Pune where nobody knew anyone, the host had no idea who actually showed up, and by midnight things went sideways in ways they didn't have to.
That night, I asked a simple question: why do we accept anonymity at social events? We verify our Airbnb guests. We background-check our rideshare drivers. But we let strangers into our homes based on nothing more than a phone number.
Event Flo is the answer to that question. Every host, every guest, every time — government ID verified before they can RSVP. Hosts earn up to ₹40,000/month opening their spaces to people they can actually trust. Guests find real, curated social experiences in their city.
We launched in Pune in 2025, expanded to Mumbai and Bangalore within six months, and now operate in 23 cities across India, the US, UK, Europe, and Asia-Pacific. We're just getting started.
