How to run a small event, from RSVPs to check-in

  1. Create the event. Add the date, place and a capacity that fits the room. Leave the price empty for a free event, or set one price. Taking RSVPs from people you don't know? Your ID is verified once, before an event is listed publicly or opened to sign-ups.
  2. Choose who can come. Make it private so only people with your link can see it, and turn on approval to review each RSVP. Guest ID checks are on by default; you can switch them off for a party of friends.
  3. Share the link. Send it on WhatsApp, Instagram or email. When the room is full, new RSVPs join a waitlist. Already have a list of names? Import it from a CSV or Excel file and each guest gets a QR pass.
  4. Check guests in. On the day, open the scanner in your phone browser and scan each guest's QR pass, or search for a name.

You can cancel any event from your dashboard. Confirmed guests are automatically notified. For paid events, you settle refunds directly with guests — they paid you on your own UPI or in person, so the money never sat with Event Flo.
