How does a nightclub guest list app work?
Guests request a spot from your event page instead of messaging a promoter, you approve who gets in, and door staff scan each QR pass. On Event Flo, guest ID checks are on by default, so a guest is confirmed once their ID is verified. It is free for organizers: 0% platform fees, and guests pay you directly.
- Platform fee: 0%
- Guest ID check: On by default
- Approval: Optional, per event
- Door: QR scan from staff phones
- Block list: Yours, across your events
- Payments: Guests pay you directly
What nightlife organizers run into
Gatecrashers & Fake IDs. Random people show up, bouncers can't verify IDs fast enough, and the vibe gets ruined. You need to know exactly who's coming before they arrive at the door.
Payments Are a Nightmare. Chasing payment screenshots across group chats, no reliable record of who has paid, and every ticket sold through a third-party platform eats into your margin.
Zero Guest Visibility. No real guest list until the night of the event. You have no idea who said yes, who actually shows up, or who's on your blacklist.
Event Flo for nightlife organizers
Everything below is included at a 0% platform fee — there is no tier to upgrade to and no per-attendee charge.
| Feature | What it does |
|---|---|
| 0% Platform Fees | Keep 100% of your ticket revenue. No per-ticket charges, no subscription — and no processing cut, because guests pay you directly. |
| ID-Verified Guest Lists | Verification is on by default for every event you publish except business events, and you can switch it off: unverified guests can send a request, and their spot is confirmed once their ID is verified. No fake profiles, no bots — just real people who are who they say they are. |
| Bouncer Portal | Your door staff scan QR codes from their own phones and see banned guests refused on screen. You watch the live headcount and gender ratio on your own check-in screen. |
| Approval-Based Entry | Review every registration before confirming. Control exactly who gets access to your event list. |
| Blacklist Protection | Block problematic guests across all your future events. Your blacklist travels with every event you create. |
| Money Straight to You | Guests pay you directly — your UPI, your terms. Event Flo never holds your money, so there is no payout wait and nothing deducted. |
How to run a club night guest list on Event Flo
- Create the night. Add the venue, date, capacity, age restriction and one ticket price, or keep it free. A public event saves as a draft and publishes once your government ID is approved, usually within an hour; a private event can go live right away.
- Share one link. Post the event link on Instagram, in WhatsApp groups and with your promoters. Everyone requests a spot on the same page, so you work from one list instead of five.
- Approve the list. Turn on approval and confirm each request. With Guest ID check on (the default), each request comes from a person whose ID has been verified, and anyone on your block list is declined.
- Run the door. Invite door staff by email. They scan QR passes from their own phone browsers and see blocked guests refused on screen, while you watch the live headcount and gender ratio on your check-in screen.
What organizers say
"My first rooftop party filled up, and every party since has started with a guest list I trust. I haven't had a single safety incident." — Priya M., House Party Host
"The bouncer portal is a game-changer. My staff run the whole door from their own phones — QR scans, blacklist checks, all without me hovering." — Rahul K., Club Night Organizer
"Zero platform fees — every rupee from tickets goes directly to me. A few events in, the fee line on my old platform reads like a bad joke." — Aditya V., Bar Night Host

Frequently asked questions
Can I host ticketed nightlife events for free?
Yes. Event Flo charges 0% platform fees on all events including club nights, house parties, and bar events. You keep 100% of your ticket revenue — and since Event Flo never sits in the money path, there are no processing charges through the platform either. How you collect (UPI, bank transfer, cash at the door) is up to you.
How does ID verification work for nightlife events?
Government ID verification is on by default: a guest who signs up through the event page is confirmed only after their ID is verified, and hosts can turn it off per event. Our team manually reviews each submission. With verification on, your guest list contains real, verified people — not anonymous email addresses.
What is the Bouncer Portal?
The Bouncer Portal is a browser-based check-in tool your door staff use on their own smartphones. They scan guest QR codes, search the guest list by name, and see banned guests refused on screen — without dedicated hardware. The live headcount and gender ratio are on your own check-in screen.
Can I limit who can register for my event?
Yes. Enable approval mode and review each registration before confirming. You can also set age restrictions, capacity limits, and a blacklist. Only guests you approve can attend.
How does a club guest list work?
A guest list is the set of names a club or promoter has agreed to let in, often with free or cheaper entry before a cut-off time. On paper it lives on a clipboard at the door. On Event Flo it is one list per night: guests request a spot, you approve them, each confirmed guest gets a single-use QR pass, and door staff scan it, so the same pass cannot get two people in.
What's a good nightclub guest list app?
Look for four things: guests request a spot without you typing names, you approve or decline each one, the door scans passes from ordinary phones, and you can block people who caused trouble before. Event Flo does all four for free, with 0% platform fees and guest ID checks on by default. It does not sell tickets through a card checkout: guests pay you directly, by UPI, bank transfer or cash.
How do promoters track their own guest lists?
On Event Flo they share one list. Each night has a single guest list, not one per promoter, and there are no promoter logins or per-promoter counts. Promoters share the same event link, and with approval on you confirm each request yourself. To see who brought whom, add a registration question such as “Who invited you?” and read the answers in your guest list or the CSV export.
Do I need to verify my ID before my event goes live?
Yes, for a public or members-only event: you verify a government ID once before it goes live, but you can start now. Sign up, build the night and save it as a draft. A person on the Event Flo team reviews your ID, usually within an hour, and the event publishes once it is approved. A private event can go live right away: until your ID is verified, guests join by invite or at the door. Share the link with promoters once the page is live, and you verify once, not for every night.
