What ID is accepted for government ID verification on Event Flo?
Event Flo accepts any government-issued photo ID: Aadhaar card, PAN card, passport, driving licence, or voter ID (India). For US events: US passport, state driver's licence, or state ID card.
How does ID verification work on Event Flo?
Guests upload a photo of their government-issued ID and a selfie during onboarding. The Event Flo team manually reviews each submission. Once verified, the guest can RSVP to any event on the platform. Verification is one-time — guests don't repeat it for each event.
Is ID verification mandatory to attend events?
Yes. Every guest must complete government ID verification before they can RSVP or purchase tickets for any event on Event Flo. There are no exceptions. This applies to every event on the platform.
How is my ID data stored and protected?
ID documents are encrypted at rest and in transit. Document images are used only for verification and are not shared with event organizers or other guests. Event Flo stores only your verification status, not your raw document image, for ongoing use.
Can organizers see guests' ID documents?
No. Organizers never see ID documents. They see only that a guest is verified, along with the guest's profile photo and name. Full document details remain private and accessible only to the Event Flo review team.
How long does ID verification take?
Verification is typically reviewed within 24 hours. During peak periods it may take up to 48 hours. Once verified, your status is permanent — you don't reverify for future events.
What happens if a guest's ID is rejected?
Guests whose documents cannot be verified are notified and given the option to resubmit with a clearer image. Accounts that submit fraudulent documents are permanently banned from the platform.
Does ID verification apply to organizers too?
Yes. Event organizers also complete government ID verification before they can create and publish events. This ensures both hosts and guests are verified, creating mutual accountability on both sides of every event.
