Grievance Redressal — Grievance Officer

Event Flo lets people publish events, community pages, photos, reviews and comments. If something on Event Flo breaks our Terms of Service, our Community Guidelines or the law, or you have a concern about how we handle your personal data, you can complain to our Grievance Officer. This page explains how, and what happens next. If someone is in danger at an event, call 112 first. Then tell us. Last updated October 5, 2026.

We appoint a Grievance Officer under India’s Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

2. What you can complain about

An event listing, community page, photo, review, comment or profile that breaks section 5 of our Terms of Service, our Community Guidelines, or the law.

Someone impersonating you, or using your photos or personal details without your permission.

Your personal data: getting a copy, correcting it, deleting it, or how we use it.

A decision we made about your account, an event, or your identity verification.

3. How to complain

Email grievance@event-flo.com. Include:

Your name, and how to reach you.

A link to the content, or enough detail for us to find it.

What is wrong, and what you would like us to do.

If the complaint is about your own data, write from the email address on your account, so we can confirm it is you.

You do not need an Event Flo account to complain.

4. What happens next

We acknowledge your complaint within 24 hours.

We resolve it within 15 days, and tell you what we decided and why.

A request to remove content that breaks section 5 of our Terms of Service is resolved within 72 hours.

Content that shows someone’s private areas, shows them nude or in a sexual act, or is an altered image of them is removed within 24 hours of the complaint.

Where a complaint is upheld, we may remove the content, undo an identity verification, or stop providing the service to the account responsible, as section 6 of our Terms of Service describes.

5. If you are not satisfied

For a decision about content or an account, you can appeal to the Grievance Appellate Committee set up by the Government of India, within 30 days of our decision, at gac.gov.in.

For a complaint about your personal data, once you have used this process you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
