What your registration status means
After you register, the ticket box on the event page shows where your registration stands. Here is what each status means and what to do next.
Step 1: Find your status
Open the event page and look at the card in the ticket box. In Tickets & saved, under Tickets, requests also carry a label such as Pending, Waiting for your ID or Waitlisted.
Step 2: You're in
Your spot is confirmed. Tap View your ticket for the QR code you show at the door.
Step 3: Request saved or Almost in
Your request is saved, but the event checks ID and yours isn't verified yet. Tap Upload your ID. The title is Almost in on events without host approval. If an earlier ID wasn't accepted, the card says why and the button reads Upload again.
Step 4: ID under review
Your ID is being checked, usually within an hour. When it's approved, your request moves on by itself: you're in, it goes to the host or you join the waitlist if the event is full.
Step 5: Request sent
The host reviews each request. We email you when they decide. You don't need to do anything.
Step 6: You're on the waitlist
The event is full. We email you if a spot opens up.
Step 7: Request not approved
The host didn't approve your request. It no longer shows in your list of tickets.
Step 8: Booking cancelled
The host removed you from the guest list, so your tickets no longer work. If you paid the host, contact them about a refund.
Good to know
Request expired means the event ended before your ID was verified.
A saved request doesn't hold a spot until your ID is approved.
The waitlist doesn't show a position number.
