Register for an event
Registering is free on Event Flo. You send a request from the event page, verify your ID if the event checks ID and answer any questions the host asks.
Step 1: Read How joining works
Open the event and scroll to the ticket box. How joining works lists the steps this event has: verifying your ID, the host's approval, paying the host and, for a house party, when the address arrives.
Step 2: Tap Register or Request to Join
Tap REGISTER, or REQUEST TO JOIN if the host approves each guest. Not signed in? You create a free account first, then land back on the event, where your request carries on.
Step 3: Answer the host's questions
If the host asks questions, a form opens. Fill in the ones marked with a star, then tap SEND REQUEST (or FINISH REGISTRATION on events without approval).
Step 4: Upload your ID if asked
Most events check ID. If yours isn't verified yet, your request is saved and the card says Request saved or Almost in. Tap Upload your ID and add a clear photo of a government photo ID. You only do this once, and review is usually within an hour.
Step 5: Wait for the host
Once your ID is approved, your request goes on by itself. On an approval event the card says Request sent and we email you when the host decides. On other events you're in, and your ticket is in Tickets & saved.
Good to know
A full event shows JOIN WAITLIST instead. You get a spot if one opens up.
A saved request doesn't hold a spot. If the event fills before your ID is approved, you go on the waitlist.
Registration closes 1 hour after the event starts.
Events with an age limit check the date of birth on your profile.
There's nothing to pay on Event Flo. If the event has a price, you pay the host directly.
