Create an event
The create form is one page. Fill it in from top to bottom and publish. The button at the bottom always names what is still missing.
Before you start
Public and members-only events need your ID approved to go live. Without it they save as a draft. See Why your event was saved as a draft.
Step 1: Open the create form
In the Organizer OS, tap the + button at the top right (New event on a computer). You can also tap Create Event in the Event Flo site menu.
Step 2: Add a cover
Tap Pick a cover, then Upload from your gallery to use your own poster (JPG, PNG, GIF or WebP, up to 5 MB). On a computer you can also drop an image on it. If your image isn't portrait 4:5, drag and zoom to frame it, then tap Use this crop. Tap Use whole image to keep all of it. Or pick one from the library below. Portrait, 1080 × 1350, looks best.
Step 3: Name it and set the time
Type the Event name. Tap the Start date to pick a day, then type or pick a time. The End fills in two hours later, so change it if your event runs longer.
Step 4: Pick a category
Tap Category, pick the one that fits, then up to 3 vibes. If you host at home, pick House party: the address stays hidden, and only confirmed guests see it from 2 hours before the start.
Step 5: Add the location
Type the venue or address in the field with the pin and pick a suggestion. Above it, Hosting in shows the city: it starts as the city on your profile, and picking an address updates it. Tap Change to pick another city.
Step 6: Write a description
Tap Description and write at least 60 words: what happens, who it's for, what to bring. The counter under the box shows how far you are, and the row shows it too when you close it.
Step 7: Set the capacity and options
Under Event options, set the Capacity; it's the one option you must fill in. Leave Ticket price empty for a free event. Guest ID check is on by default, and Require approval and Tickets per person are up to you.
Step 8: Publish
The line above the button sums up who can find the event and who gets in. Tap Publish event. Your event is live! opens with Copy link, Download QR and share buttons, so you can send it straight away.
Good to know
Missing something? The button at the bottom names the next thing to fill in, such as Pick a category, and a tap takes you there.
The form saves as you type on this device. Come back later and it says Picked up your draft where you left off. Discard draft clears it, with an Undo.
Times are in 24-hour format and in the event's time zone, shown under the dates. The time zone follows the city.

Business conference and Business training events can't be listed on Discover and have no vibes. See Create a business event.
