Create a business conference or training

Pick Business conference or Business training as the category to add your organization's name and logo. Business events also get an attendance report and attendance certificates.

Before you start

Business events are never public. A private business event doesn't need your ID approved. Members only needs a community as host and your ID approved.

Step 1: Start a new event

In the Organizer OS, tap New event (the + at the top right on a phone). Give the event its name, date and time as usual.

Step 2: Pick a business category

Tap the Category row, then Business conference or Business training. Who can see the event switches to Private.

Step 3: Add your organization

Under Event options, type your Organization name. For a logo, paste the link to the image in Organization logo URL. A preview shows under the field.

Step 4: Choose in person or online

In the location row, type the venue in the field with the pin. For an online event, tap Online event? Add a meeting link instead and paste the Meeting link, which only registered guests see. If the row is closed, tap Add event location first.

Step 5: Choose who can see it

Tap the visibility button at the top, which shows Private. Public can't be picked: Business events aren't listed on Discover. Keep Private, or pick Members only if a community hosts the event.

Step 6: Finish and publish

Fill in the rest of the form and publish as for any event. See Create an event.

Good to know

A business event doesn't ask for a city, vibes or an Age limit.

A business event is free and has no Ticket price, Require approval, Guest ID check or Tickets per person. Guests who register through the link are confirmed at once, with one ticket each.

Only Business conference and Business training events have the attendance report and certificates.
