Approve or decline guest requests

With Require approval on, everyone who registers sends you a request. Nobody gets a ticket until you approve them.

Step 1: Turn on Require approval

On the create screen, or the edit screen of a live event, find Event options and switch on Require approval. Save with Update event, or Publish event on a new event. The lock icon on the event's card under Your events on Command center does the same in one tap.

Step 2: Approve from Command center

Open Command center and scroll to Approvals. Each request shows the event, whether their ID is verified and any answers they gave. Tap Approve and they get their ticket by email.

Step 3: Or decline it

Tap the × next to Approve. Add a reason if you like. It goes to the guest with the news. Then tap Decline.

Step 4: Decide from the guest list

In Guests, open the Pending tab and tap the guest. Tap Approve request, or Decline request and then Confirm decline.

Step 5: Requests waiting for an ID

A guest marked ID pending saved their request before their ID was approved. Approve request stays greyed out until it is. You can decline now.

Good to know

Requests also show under the bell at the top of the screen, in Pending approvals.

If the event is full, Approve reads Full instead. Raise the capacity first. See Set capacity, tickets per person and waitlist.

Approving a booking for several people approves every ticket on it.

Declined someone by mistake? Open the Rejected tab, tap them and tap Approve anyway.

People on your VIP list skip approval. See Use the VIP list and block guests.

On a priced event the ticket email tells the guest how to pay you. If they've already paid, mark them as paid before you approve.
