Set up your venue

If you run a restaurant, bar, club or other place, give it a venue page on Event Flo, verify it with a business document and set up the events you hold there every week.

Before you start

Venue verification is separate from your own ID check. You can set up a venue before or after your ID is approved.

Step 1: Open List your venue

In the Organizer OS, tap the Menu button at the top left, then List your venue at the bottom. On a computer, it's at the foot of the left sidebar. Once your venue exists, the row reads My venue.

Step 2: Add your venue's details

Tap Cover Image and Logo to add pictures. Type the Venue name, pick a Venue Type, then fill in City, the full address, a description, your website and your Instagram handle. The name and city are required.

Step 3: Tap Create Venue

Tap Create Venue at the bottom. To change something later, edit it and tap Update Venue. View Public Profile opens your venue page.

Step 4: Upload a business document

The top of the page now says Venue Not Verified. Tap Upload Doc and pick a photo or PDF of a business document for the venue, up to 10 MB.

Step 5: Wait for the review

The banner changes to Verification Pending while the Event Flo team reviews your document. Once it's approved it says Venue Verified.

Step 6: Add a weekly event

Under Weekly Events, tap + Add Weekly Event. Give it a title, pick the day under Repeats Every and a Category, set the Start Time and End Time, and add a description, price and age limit if you want. Leave the price empty for a free event. Then tap Create Weekly Event.

Step 7: Manage your weekly events

Each weekly event shows its day and times. Tap Edit to change it, Pause to stop it for now and Resume to start it again. The bin button deletes it.

Good to know

Weekly events use your venue's address, city and cover image.

Deleting a weekly event stops new events being made from it. Events already on the calendar stay.
