Import a guest list
Add a whole list of people at once from a CSV or Excel file. Each guest gets a door code your scanner accepts, and an entry pass by email when you send it.
Before you start
Your event is live. A draft doesn't take imported guests until you publish it.
Your file has a header row with a name column. Email and phone columns are optional.
Step 1: Tap Import guests
In Guests, check the event name at the top, then tap Import guests.
Step 2: Choose your file
Tap Choose CSV or Excel file and pick your list, one guest per row. Up to 500 rows are read from each file.
Step 3: Check the preview and import
You see how many guests are ready and the first five rows. Guests with no email are flagged, and so are rows that will be skipped because that person is already on your list or already registered. Tap Import, which shows the count, such as Import 5 guests.
Step 4: Send their passes
Tap Email 4 passes now to email everyone with an address straight away, or Done to send them later. On a priced event, tick They've already paid me first if they have. Send me a test pass emails you the pass your guests get.
Step 5: Find them on the list
Imported guests are on the Added tab (Imports & walk-ins on a computer), each with their door code and whether their pass was Sent.
Good to know
Guests with no email still get a door code. Share it with them yourself from their row.
A longer list is cut at 500 rows. Split it into several files.
Duplicate rows, people already on your list and people already registered are skipped, and the preview says which.
Imported guests hold seats. Import more than your capacity and new registrations go to the waitlist.
Test passes are limited to 5 an hour. Until your ID is verified, you can send 300 pass and certificate emails a day.
One or two people? Add a guest yourself instead.
