Dawn to Dusk is a 75-minute musical journey through the sounds, experiences and expressions of a life lived through music. Original compositions and instrumental pieces come together in a performance that moves between expansive soundscapes and intimate moments.
At its centre is Arjun Sen, a guitarist and composer who has spent several decades playing, writing, recording and exploring jazz, blues, rock and instinctive music. Rather than a chronological retrospective, the show brings together different points in his musical journey and the experiences that have shaped his sound.
Arjun’s music doesn’t always chase the polished or predictable. Rough edges, distortion, unexpected textures, silence and unconventional sounds are all part of his vocabulary. They can build into immersive soundscapes one moment, then give way to small, quiet and nuanced details the next.
Dawn to Dusk is an evening about listening differently — to sound, to silence, and to the freedom of an artist who continues to explore beyond formula.
